Our client is an international company that is commercially active throughout Europe. The company is a world leader in electric fencing, birth alarms, farming toys, and miniatures of agricultural machinery. They are looking for an Account Manager to help them taking care of the German market.

Job description

Do not stop reading if you are looking for a well-rounded role, with a lot of room for you to take ownership and develop your portfolio from A to Z. Here's what you would do as Account Manager in a nutshell:

• Taking care of your own client portfolio
• Identifying potential in the market and conduct market research.
• Analyzing the vision, strategy and purchasing policy of these accounts.
• Selling promotions.
• Responsible for after sales.
• Generating new accounts via internet and telephone, based on a well thought-out prospecting plan.
• Generating new orders and quotes in the CRM system.

  • Speaking an excellent level of German and a fluent level of English.
  • Previous work experience as an office-based commercial employee
  • You live in or around Groningen or you are willing to relocate there
  • You can work well under pressure and work in a very structured way
  • MBO+/HBO work level and/or intellectual ability
