Job description

The Risk Team is expanding, due to increase of business and changes in the legislation. There is room for a new colleague, and we are now recruiting a Credit Risk Manager who will be responsible for shaping and leading the development of the credit risk area within the organisation of our client. As a credit risk manager, you will handle a wired variety of challenging and complex work specialized in the assessment of merchant-related risk with a primary focus on credit risk and underwriting strategies. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the company is within the risk appetite, as well as continuously developing credit risk models and policies.

The Credit Managers role also includes building, driving, and continuously improving the relationship with partners and stakeholders within the organisation and HQ as well as knowledge transfer.
The Credit Manager role reports to the Risk Director.
The role will in the long term include personnel responsibility. Therefore, we are searching for someone who believes she/he is ready for this type of responsibility. It would be a great match if the new person would have the following personal characteristics; creative, smart, and driven.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Credit Manager is to be performing credit assessment on new customers as well as review current ones, assess and monitor the vendor's information policy and standards requirements. You are the owner and driver of the Credit Committee. You work on the development of the strategy and KPIs to successfully manage Credit risk appetite. Take responsibilities in Organise & managing awareness sessions and workshops within the entity. Translate global policies and standards to match local procedures (when required).

Further responsibilities, (but not limited to):
· Monitoring/coordinating on credit risk incidents and taking appropriate action
· Monitoring/coordinating on credit reporting towards the head office.
· Miscellaneous tasks that the Risk Director delegates.

Requirements

Knowledge/Skills:

In this role, it is essential that you have highly developed analytical, structured problem-solving skills. You enjoy and have the ability to maintain effective working relationships. You are a creative thinker and have the ability to seek creative/further proof solutions. You can work towards challenging deadlines in a demanding environment. You have solid integrity. A flexible, pragmatic, enthusiastic person with a great portion of common sense. You enjoy working in a team and have the drive to deliver in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills in English (both oral and written).

Desirable Qualifications:
High interest in cars and car industry
Insight in the car market and different makes/models
Risk awareness

Essential:
· University degree in Business or Economics or equivalent knowledge thru work experience
· Several years within the vehicle industry role preferably within the Credit process
· Knowledge of the car market

Working conditions

Salary according to the market and company standards. Further benefits would be

Our client is working with full-service packages within the mobility industry, CaaS - Car-as-a-service.
This can be related to the financing of the cars, as well as a full-service package whereby the clients are charged a standard monthly fee for repair, maintenance, tyres, etc. based upon the agreed contract duration for a car, as well as the mileage. And much more!
