Job description


We are looking for a talented, creative, and passionate Head of Marketing, to join the company as they continue to scale up rapidly. Working closely with the CEO you will oversee all marketing activities including growth and retention marketing operations to take this from a startup into an internationally successful company. You report directly to the CEO, who is an internationally experienced leader and angel investor.

This is a hands-on role that requires someone who is equally operational and strategic, able to fluidly navigate and integrate data-driven marketing, online & offline strategies, project management, and partnerships, translating an overall vision and strategy into concrete and winning commercial & brand strategies.

The ideal Head of Marketing will be an experienced professional with a passion for building brands and has great knowledge for all things marketing. You are able to balance a highly creative mindset with a deep understanding of data in order to drive the customer experience and communication to the next level.

· Lead and develop the creative, growth, and retention Marketing operations. Manage in-house resources and agencies
· Define marketing strategies to support the company’s expansion. Including branding, PR, and performance marketing. Develop and maintain a clear and distinct brand proposition, including key messages, tone of voice, and graphical profile
· Build a strong brand for end customers.
· Define the goals, core strategies, and most efficient tactics to drive cost-effective acquisition. Recruitment of new customers to the service - reaching target volumes with as low CAC as possible
· Define goals, core strategies, and most efficient tactics to prolong customer lifetime and increase referral marketing. Analyze consumer behavior and determine customer personas
· Overall P/L for Marketing Opex Budget
· Build and manage the Marketing teams to achieve optimum performance.

Requirements

Major professional experiences & competencies

· Proven experience as a Marketing leader in the US market and beyond, across all channels and functions to effectively develop and implement a marketing plan based on the founder’s vision.

· Brand and performance/growth marketing in rapidly growing Direct to Consumer business, both driving awareness campaigns in a highly elevated and modern voice that’s on brand and digital user acquisition marketing (digital ads).

· Ability to lead creative, growth/paid marketing, to build strong communities. Google and Facebook, social media marketing.

· Marketing-funnel know-how, experience in adopting and enhancing media-mix and attribution models to achieve the highest incremental effect on acquisition/retention (CAC/CLV).

· A strategic mindset and an ability to translate visions into concrete long-term plans that are aligned with company identity, brand, and business targets

· Proven ability to build relationships both internally and externally. Ability to influence and impact immediately. Solid leadership skills and a natural gravitas

· Sophisticated communication & presentation skills, able to understand and appreciate diversity and nuance and adapt style accordingly.

· Work well under pressure and problem solver

· Strong implementer, takes feedback and directions well to be able to work under a founder with a clear vision.


Education and specific skills

· Strong academic credentials, ideally with a Marketing, or Business focus
· Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Working conditions

Contract according to Swedish standards. It is not a 9-5 job! But a possibility to build one of the new unicorns in the tech world!

At the moment the company is not certified for applying for work permits in Sweden, so for this role, it is necessary that you are eligible to work in Sweden.
