Job description

As a Help Desk Specialist, you will be providing both hardware and software support to your colleagues. Working with ticketing systems, you will be supporting everything from desktops to cell phones, and assisting with network related issues as well. This is a fast-paced role, so no two days will be the same!

Requirements

In order to be successful in this role, you need to have good communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into laymans terms. Next to this, strong troubleshooting skills are a must-have, along with the desire to keep up to date with new technologies. Here are a few other requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with corporate IT support using Microsoft technology;
  • Knowledge of Office 2016/Office 365, Active Directory, DHCP, networking (VLANs, switching/routing, Wi-Fi), and backup/recovery systems;

If you have knowledge of the following, that's a huge plus! Be sure to outline that in your application:

  • Experience using Helpdesk based ticketing systems;
  • Experience in supporting MAC OS;
  • Experience deploying and supporting VOIP phones;
  • Knowledge of ITIL;
  • Excperience with SCCM;
