Job description

In this position as The Key Account Manager Europe, you take the ownership role for the named global accounts while driving the identification and qualification of opportunities. As well as developing and executing global account & opportunity plans. The main task is to bring in new business with the largest customers. You develop, lead, and manage key account negotiations, as well as ensuring the company meets revenue quotas on a global scale. Develop target accounts and strategic initiatives to be a significant contributor to Europe’s global revenue growth in the defined markets.

You get to create Account Plans for each named account, keeping it up to date on an ongoing basis and sharing its content with team members. You will be driving revenue growth programs within the accounts. Initiate sales activity with top-level management at target industry accounts and coordinate cross-functional teams and coordinate End User strategy and execution with global counterparts. You get to participate in an account team-selling environment, providing the Prospect/Customer with the primary point of contact within the company.


You attend and participate in customer team meetings and communicate regularly with account team members to ensure customer satisfaction. Representing the company at important industry events and participate in industry-specific activities (depending on how this develops with the Covid-19).
You enjoy maintaining and grow positive client relationships, liaising between clients, and management. Implementing and executing effective sales campaigns to ensure maximum penetration of named accounts across all divisions and regions globally. You seek to expand and strengthen the presence on the market by establishing proactive relationships with influential people, both within the customer and identified key third parties. You will maintain an accurate and current pipeline of opportunities within the CRM system and provide real-time visibility of such to the management.

You understand target market product trends and specifications and communicate requirements to Product and Corporate Marketing groups. It is a must that you have experience selling medical capital equipment (like for example Refrigerators for use for Blood Banks, Freezer options for medical use, Lab Freezers). Also, the experience of having worked with Key Account Management in Europe is essential. If you have experience working with or for a medical equipment distributor, it could also be of value for our client.

You speak English at a high level as this is the main language within the company.

Working conditions

The salary is in accordance with the market level, and depending on the experience the candidate brings.
This position can be operating out of Sweden, with frequent travel within Europe (once it is allowed again due to Covid-19 regulations). It does not matter where you live in Sweden, or the Nordics, as long as you bring the required experience and network.) The candidate needs to have a valid working permit for working in Sweden.
