Company description

My client has been established in 1956 in Germany and they are operating both in Germany and also in the Netherlands. They are positioning themselves within the textile branch – producing and selling workwear. They are the leading workwear providers in the industry. They were only active in the German market, but since 2013 they started expanding their business abroad (Austria, the Netherlands). There aim is to make the Dutch market bigger than it is. Therefore, they are looking for a Sales Manager.

You will be working in the Netherlands and you will be responsible for the Dutch market.

Job description

· strategic development and expansion as well as further development of the sales area
· independent and targeted advice and support for assigned customers in the sales areas
· acquisition of new customers as well as expansion and maintenance of existing customer relationships
· implementation of optimal dealer- and end customer coverage especially tandem visits with the specialist trade
· conducting annual meetings with trading partners and drawing up a 3-year business plan
· advice to end customer especially tandem visits with the specialist trade partner
· presentation and training in reference to our products as well as placement of samples


· Speaking Dutch on a C2 level is a must
· Speaking German and English on a business level (at least B2 level) is a must
· Successfully completed technical or commercial education
· Passion for sales activities and sales experience
· Industry-specific knowledge in the area of workwear and/or personal protective equipment (PPEI or a high level of willingness to learn and work to acquire this knowledge in a short time
· Confident handling of the common MS Office programs
· Excellent communication skills and a self-confident and friendly appearance
· High level of commitment flexibility and resilience as well as willingness to travel
