Cloud based and mobile driven solutions for locker management systems, require a good understanding of the products and the IT side, but the most important is to know the market and know your local clients.

Therefore, our client is looking to recruit a Sales Manager for the Scandinavian market, operating either out of Denmark or Sweden. Location is flexible.

Job description

As a Sales Manager your main task will be setting up and building relationships with Scandinavian partners to grow business in the region. You will be showing potential partners your products and remain responsible for communications and relationship building. You are not scared of cold-calling and meeting with new potential clients, even if this means travelling to Scandinavian countries to speak face-to-face. You are a hard-worker and know that building long-lasting relationships takes time and effort. You are not a quitter and are competitive! This vacancy requires a lot of self-rule, planning and autonomy, so have self-knowledge and know how to use your strengths in your work environment.


As a potential business meeting can be with a CEO, finance, R&D, IT all departments at one time, it is important you are equipped with a seniority in order to handle high level sales talks. A degree on paper is not the most important thing, but you will need to be able to prove that you are on a certain thinking level, being able to build your own business, think strategically and being able to build strong partnerships with clients. Target clients are corporate entities and small medium sized companies.

It is to a great advantage if you have been working with IT software (and hardware) solutions and have affinity with technical issues. As it is working towards the furtniture industry, our client would prefer to hire someone that has experience with these products.

You are a out of the box thinker, ability to think global but still act local.
Frequent travel within Scandinavia and flexibility on attending meetings with the colleagues in The Netherlands.
You get the unique chance to ‘run your own business’ in Scandinavia! We therefore are looking for a candidate that is determined, a canvasser, ability to start from scratch and move forward.

Fluency of Swedish or Danish is essential. Mobility is flexible; however, it is an advantage if you live near a big city in Sweden or Denmark. Should you have access to a home-based office, that is to a great advantage for you. As well as a valid driver’s license.
