Our client is a international known, american based company. They are active in the Medical industry. At the moment they are looking to hire a new global manager for Logistics and Warehousing.

You will be accountable for developing and implementing strategic plans that ensure the Logistics & Warehouse footprint of the business is aligned to current and future needs whilst delivering market leading service levels through effective logistics inclusive of warehouse management.
This position interacts with management, with project teams, and with internal and external partners (3PLs, suppliers and possibly customers).
Primary Responsibilities:
· Ensure perfect logistical flow, logistics management and project logistics work directly.
· Logistics service provider management, including KPI monitor, performance and exceptional case management.
· Participate in logistics solutions design and execution per customers demand in a pro-active and solutions driven manner.
· Custom clearance control and monitor goods to be delivered to the designated places timely.
· Ensure global trade compliance.
· Interact with the full global Supply Chain team to ensure meeting customer expectations to the highest possible standards.
· Partner with Quality, Regulatory, Legal and Finance in managing Approved Supplier List and contracts.
· Documentation management (both quality management system and trade compliance related).
· Other duties and responsibilities as requested by management.


· Bachelor’s degree.
· Strong operational experience is essential. The successful candidate will ideally have gained significant experience working in a management role in a logistics / supply chain environment.
· Previous experience of working with and managing third party logistics providers.
· Experience with implementing and/or using ERP software (preferably Oracle).
· Experience in project management, collaborative partnerships, and supplier relationships.
· Experience in accommodating commercial supply chain requirements (new territories & product launches).
· Thorough knowledge of manufacturing disciplines related to drug/device development.
· Ability to effectively and constructively communicate, coordinate, cooperate and interact with all levels internally and externally.
· Excellent in getting results without direct authority.
· Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills with ability to serve as external face of company.
· Requires U.S. and international travel (estimated to be 25 to 40%).
