Job description

Our client with headquarters in Amsterdam and Paris is looking for a Senior Sales Development Manager who will be responsible for the development and implementation of business development plans, key account management and achieving revenue targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving revenue growth in academic, language schools and corporate sectors and establish institutional relations (Ministries of Education)
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive business strategy and tactics in identified countries in western and northern Europe with a special focus on Germany and German speaking countries
  • Identifying new partnerships opportunities and drive business development resulting in new clients for the region
  • Ensuring management of key accounts to deliver on their contracts
  • Recruiting, managing and supporting the local distributors and public test centers
  • Building and implementing business & marketing plans and supporting clients and partners with events and seminars
  • Working with projects, respond to tenders and coordinate accreditation processes
  • Ensuring the implementation of standardized operational procedures in branch and by partners
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal, contractual, security and statutory requirement of the business

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in sales and business development in an international setting
  • Experience in managing a sales portfolio of 1M Euro or higher
  • Master’s degree
  • Business level German (C2) having worked and lived in Germany and excellent level in English
  • Knowledge of the learning and assessment market in Germany
  • Experience with managing distributors’ network and developing new business, managing relations with the governmental structures (Ministries, Embassies, etc)
  • An existing network in English Language Learning & Assessment industry is strongly preferred
  • Ability to drive results
  • Excellent networking, negotiation, organizational, presentation and public speaking skills
  • Flexibility, sense of responsibility, autonomy and priority management

Working conditions

Full time position either based in the Netherlands (Amsterdam) or France (Paris)
