Job description
• Create and design software tooling/methodologies for efficient process automation in our data• analytics landscape
• Coordinate and implement data visualization best practices to expose analytical insights in an intuitive actionable manner.
• Adopt data management patterns to implement microservice architectures
• Work with business and technical stakeholders across functions to identify, analyze, sell, and prove opportunities to apply advanced analytics and/or ML to existing and new use-cases.
• Support the ED&A teams and lead by example on how to create production ready big data pipelines using all the best practices and the Data Ops methodology.
• Design, manage and support the preparation of large, complex data sets in line with functional and technical requirements.
• Understand and implement practices to comply with GDPR and other company data privacy requirements.
• Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, mentoring, and data engineering best practices with squads.
• Work collaboratively with internal, Geo and external partners.
• Help data squads to align with the existing technological landscape, and correct usage of technical products
• Providing requirements for platform components for their further evolvement
• Facilitate automation and re-use in building data pipelines and definition of data schemas
• Participation in solution architecture forums and discussions
Requirements
• Experience in partnering with business stakeholders to shape process optimization use-cases powered by data• Solid experience building and optimizing big data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
• Experience in data modelling and ability to write optimized SQL queries
• Knowledge of data governance processes and concepts
• Proven track-record of bringing data products into commercial production environments
• Extensive experience in setting the technical vision and leading development of end-to-end solutions such as self-service analytics platforms, predictive or prescriptive analytics systems.
• Identify external and internal data sources and interface with external parties such as partners for data access
• Passion about technology, product and user experience
• Technologies: AWS, Hive, Airflow, Snowflake, Tableau
• Technical stack: PySpark, JSON/OAS,
• Affinity and experience with designing cloud based big data solutions
• Affinity with documentation tools like Confluence & LucidChart
Working conditions
We offer a competitive salary depending on experience. This concerns a temporary role for around 5 months, with a possibility to be extended.Salary from: €6660,-
