Our client is seeking a Tech Recruitment Team Lead to join their Talent Acquisition team.

Their Talent Acquisition team is fully distributed with team members working from multiple locations in Europe, so in this role you can be based in their Berlin/Lisbon offices, or work remotely from another location in Europe.

  • Lead a team of 4-5 recruiters, a sourcer and a TA coordinator, supporting Engineering, Product and Data teams. Mentoring and developing the team members will be a critical part of your role and a key leverage in delivering results.
  • Research tech talent landscape internationally, collect market intelligence and advise the leadership team on how to build talent pools in different geographical markets
  • Have a unique opportunity to partner with the C-level (CTO and CPO), helping design scalable processes for tech talent acquisition
  • In addition to leading a team, you will also be supporting several functions yourself as a senior recruiter. For these functions you will own the full recruitment cycle: sourcing, interviewing, selection and offer processes, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
  • Act as a Talent Ambassador, building a compelling employer brand in the tech community, nurture relationships with candidates and help them seamlessly integrate into the team and culture.


  • You speak English at a C2 level
  • 7+ years in building and scaling tech teams at high-growth startups or a consumer brand
  • Hands-on experience with a variety of tech roles across international markets, including Backend, Full Stack and Frontend Engineers, DevOps, Engineering Managers, Product Managers, UX/UI. You have hired engineers with various tech stacks and feel comfortable with assessing the fit of the candidate’s technical background with the role requirements.
  • Team leadership experience: you’ve already led small teams and enjoy developing and mentoring people. Alternatively, you may be looking for your first leadership role and keen to apply your people development skills while guiding the team in a high-paced environment
  • Talent partner mindset: you operate as an advisor to hiring managers and senior leaders in the organization, building trust through outstanding performance and a strong sense of what makes the right candidate for each role.
  • Exposure to high volume recruitment: you know what it takes to manage multiple roles simultaneously and thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Curiosity and continuous learning mindset: you are always researching new approaches in Tech Talent Acquisition, when you are not interviewing, you are listening to talent podcasts and reading blogs - learning from and contributing to the talent acquisition community
